Can you send a distress signal in time?

Gjutare Granströms gata 2, Västerås
Break up the conference day with a session where the whole department has to work together. Put the escape room into your programme: before lunch, as the afternoon energiser or as the finale before dinner. Each city page has the venue’s address and directions. Choose a time that leaves enough room before the next item in your programme.
Put the session where it helps most: before lunch, as an afternoon energiser or as the finale before dinner. It takes about 90 minutes from arrival.
Team versus team: each team plays its own room and the winners are crowned straight afterwards, which makes a natural bridge to the next item on the programme.
Good to know
Tip: free times, weekday daytime too, are shown directly in the calendar. Want every team to start together? Pick the same start time in several rooms when the calendar shows that time free in the rooms.
Holding your conference near Västerås C? Aros Congress Center shares a roof with the Concert Hall, close to the station, and from there it is a short walk to Escape House at Gjutare Granströms gata 2. So you can put an escape room in the middle of the programme without a bus or taxi. Allow 90 minutes with us, plus the walk there and back.
Up to 24 participants can play at once across the five rooms. With more people, split into two rounds – one before lunch and one after, for example. Every game can be played in Swedish or English, so mixed groups with colleagues from other countries work well. Build teams across departments: the twin rooms The King and The Emperor take 2–4 players each and give two teams exactly the same task.
A sample day: a morning meeting at Aros Congress Center, a walk over to us and 60 minutes in the rooms, then lunch or dinner around Stora Torget, about ten minutes from the venue. If every team should start together, the calendar needs to show the same start time free in the rooms.
