Privacy policy
What we collect
When booking: name, email, phone number, chosen room and time, and any message. When buying a gift card: name, email, address and payment details (payment is handled by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers). When requesting a quote: company, contact person and contact details.
Why
To complete and confirm your booking, send reminders by SMS and email, handle cancellations and payment, and answer requests. The legal basis is performance of a contract.
Cookies and measurement
Necessary cookies are required for booking to work. With your consent we use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta for statistics and to measure our advertising. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Video and audio recording
The game rooms are monitored by video and audio during play. The purpose is game mastering and safety – the game master follows the game, gives hints and can intervene – and the legal basis is legitimate interest. Recordings are not used for facial recognition or to identify individuals and are never used for marketing. Recordings are normally deleted within 30 days. Accepting the booking terms is not consent to recordings being used to develop games or train AI systems; any such use would require separate, voluntary consent from each participant.
Retention
Booking data is kept for 24 months after the game for accounting and to handle gift cards and complaints. Quote requests are kept for 12 months. Retention periods for recordings are stated above.
Your rights
You may request access, correction and deletion of your data and object to processing. Contact allinfo@escapehouse.se. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
