All five rooms in Västerås can be played by two. For a first date, The Space Station is a safe choice: it is not scary, it is rated Medium and you share one goal – save the space station before the reactor explodes. If you both love a scare, choose The Asylum, which is scary and rated Hard. The Bunker is rated Medium/Hard and suits a couple who have played before.
Planning a double date? Book Dungeons – The King and Dungeons – The Emperor. The rooms are identical and take 2–4 people each, so two couples can race each other when both rooms are free at the same start time. To book both you need at least four people. The couple who gets out last picks the restaurant.
Afterwards, Stora Torget is about ten minutes away. From there, follow the Svartån river down towards Lake Mälaren and the guest harbour, past Västerås Castle; on a summer evening the harbour is full of life. If you would rather hear music, the Concert Hall is a short walk from the venue, with everything from symphony orchestra and jazz to comedy.

Pick a room without scary elements (they are marked in the list), so you can focus on the puzzles and each other.
Yes, gift cards are available for any amount and are valid in all our cities.
An escape room is a game where you are locked in a themed room and have 60 minutes to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to get out. You do not need to be strong or fast, just curious and good at working together. A game master follows you on camera and gives hints if you get stuck.
Most rooms suit 2–6 players; some take up to 8. The recommended number is shown on each room. Larger groups book several rooms, with the same start time when the calendar has that time free in the rooms. Several of our rooms come in two identical versions so two teams can race each other. How many can play at the same time depends on the venue and is shown on the team-building page for each city.
The game itself is 60 minutes. Allow about 90 minutes in total including the introduction before and the debrief afterwards. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time.

It depends on the room. We have everything from family-friendly adventures like Wonderland to horror rooms like The Asylum, The Hotel and The Dollhouse. Every room is labelled with its theme and whether it has scary elements. Difficulty is a separate thing, shown on its own. Want to know more about a particular room, for example whether there are actors? Ask the venue before you book.
No. The door can always be opened from the inside and the game master can stop the game at any time. We follow the safety rules for public premises.
No. No prior knowledge and no special clothing is needed. Bring reading glasses if you need them. Does someone in your group have limited mobility? What we have checked about accessibility is shown on the room’s page. Otherwise ask the venue before you book. We recommend not drinking alcohol before the game; it makes the puzzles noticeably harder.
It varies between rooms and cities. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are labelled on the site, for example The Detectives in Gothenburg. Contact the venue before booking and we will help.
