Escape House Gothenburg has four rooms on Gråberget, a hill in the Majorna district, where up to 20 people can play at once with no more than five players in each room. The rooms differ in difficulty: The Casino Heist is rated Easy/Medium and The Chapel Medium, while the murder mystery The Detectives and Hotel Shakespeare, open to ages 18 and over, are both Medium/Hard. None of the four rooms has scary elements, so nobody on the team needs to worry about horror.
There are no twin rooms in Gothenburg, so each team gets its own theme and you compare results once everyone is out. For an even contest, put the first-timers in The Casino Heist and those with a little experience in The Chapel, while your seasoned players take Hotel Shakespeare or The Detectives, which suits the team that likes to reason its way forward. All teams can start together when the calendar shows the same start time free in the rooms. Otherwise the teams start at different times.
From offices in town, take tram 3 or 11 to Mariaplan, then walk 5–8 minutes up the hill. After the game, restaurants and wine bars around the square let you round off the day together without another journey.
