From mid-November, Liseberg becomes a Christmas park with a Christmas market and an ice rink, and it also serves julbord, the Swedish Christmas buffet, which can be booked on selected days before Christmas. Escape House, however, is on the other side of town, on Gråberget in Majorna. If you play first and eat at Liseberg afterwards, allow time for the journey to Korsvägen.
To stay nearby, there are restaurants around Mariaplan and along Mariagatan, just a 5–8 minute walk from the venue. Another option is Linnégatan and the Långgatorna streets, which both begin at Järntorget, reached by tram 3 or 11 from Mariaplan. At Christmas the trees along Avenyn are lit up too, if you want to end the evening with a walk in town.
Four rooms take up to 20 colleagues at once, and none of them is scary. The Casino Heist works best for teams playing for the first time, and The Chapel is a good next step. Hotel Shakespeare requires everyone on the team to be 18 or over; it is a comedy set in a hotel room the morning after a wild party.
