Celebrating a grown-up friend? Hotel Shakespeare fits: you wake up in a hotel room after a wild night, and nobody remembers the new code to the safe. It is for ages 18 and over and rated Medium/Hard. If there are more than five of you, the rest can play The Detectives, The Chapel or The Casino Heist, and up to 20 people fit at once when the calendar shows the same start time free in the rooms.
A suggestion: gather at Mariaplan, walk the 5–8 minutes up to Gråberget and play at 18:00. Then head back down for dinner, as around the square and along Mariagatan there is pizza, tapas, Italian food and wine bars. For more choice, take tram 3 or 11 to Järntorget, where Linnégatan begins, packed with restaurants and bars.
Children in the party? The other three rooms have a minimum age of 12, so a team with children can take The Chapel while the adults try Hotel Shakespeare, and you compare notes afterwards. Celebrating in summer? Finish with a walk to Slottsskogen, where the Kikaren lookout tower stands on the park's highest point.

Yes, in rooms that suit children. The age is shown on every room. Children under 15 play for SEK 185, adults for SEK 325.
An escape room is a game where you are locked in a themed room and have 60 minutes to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to get out. You do not need to be strong or fast, just curious and good at working together. A game master follows you on camera and gives hints if you get stuck.
Most rooms suit 2–6 players; some take up to 8. The recommended number is shown on each room. Larger groups book several rooms, with the same start time when the calendar has that time free in the rooms. Several of our rooms come in two identical versions so two teams can race each other. How many can play at the same time depends on the venue and is shown on the team-building page for each city.
The game itself is 60 minutes. Allow about 90 minutes in total including the introduction before and the debrief afterwards. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time.

It depends on the room. We have everything from family-friendly adventures like Wonderland to horror rooms like The Asylum, The Hotel and The Dollhouse. Every room is labelled with its theme and whether it has scary elements. Difficulty is a separate thing, shown on its own. Want to know more about a particular room, for example whether there are actors? Ask the venue before you book.
No. The door can always be opened from the inside and the game master can stop the game at any time. We follow the safety rules for public premises.
No. No prior knowledge and no special clothing is needed. Bring reading glasses if you need them. Does someone in your group have limited mobility? What we have checked about accessibility is shown on the room’s page. Otherwise ask the venue before you book. We recommend not drinking alcohol before the game; it makes the puzzles noticeably harder.
