Birthday in Jönköping: let the birthday person pick the room
A birthday crowd can spread across five rooms at Östra Storgatan 3, with up to 28 playing at the same time; a longer guest list splits into two rounds. Let the birthday person choose first. The Hotel is for horror lovers, from age 15 and for 3–6 players. Mysterium appeals to puzzle fans and takes 2–5. Wonderland, where you chase the White Rabbit, fits a bigger team of up to seven.
Two groups of friends can compete in the twin rooms Dungeons – The Shadow and The Darkness when both have the same start time free in the calendar. The rooms are identical, so the finishing times compare directly. Children in the party? Wonderland is from age 8, Mysterium and Dungeons from 10.
Have dinner in Tändsticksområdet, about ten minutes away, where the restaurants sit in 19th-century factory buildings. Closer still are the restaurants in Öster and at Bauers brygga. Frequently asked questions
How many can we be?
You can be up to 32 people at the same time if you book several rooms at the same time. More than that? Play two rounds one after the other.
Can you help us surprise the birthday person?
Yes, mention it in the booking and the game master will add something extra.
Can children join?
Yes, in rooms that suit children. The age is shown on every room. Children under 15 play for SEK 185, adults for SEK 325.
What is an escape room?
An escape room is a game where you are locked in a themed room and have 60 minutes to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to get out. You do not need to be strong or fast, just curious and good at working together. A game master follows you on camera and gives hints if you get stuck.
How many players can we be?
Most rooms suit 2–6 players; some take up to 8. The recommended number is shown on each room. Larger groups book several rooms, with the same start time when the calendar has that time free in the rooms. Several of our rooms come in two identical versions so two teams can race each other. How many can play at the same time depends on the venue and is shown on the team-building page for each city.
How long does it take?
The game itself is 60 minutes. Allow about 90 minutes in total including the introduction before and the debrief afterwards. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time.

Adults: SEK 325
Students (with a valid student card) and seniors 65+: SEK 250
Children and teens under 15: SEK 185
Prices are per person and room, including VAT. There are no hidden fees. You pay on site by card or Swish. All prices per city are on the Prices page.
Is it scary?
It depends on the room. We have everything from family-friendly adventures like Wonderland to horror rooms like The Asylum, The Hotel and The Dollhouse. Every room is labelled with its theme and whether it has scary elements. Difficulty is a separate thing, shown on its own. Want to know more about a particular room, for example whether there are actors? Ask the venue before you book.
Are you really locked in?
No. The door can always be opened from the inside and the game master can stop the game at any time. We follow the safety rules for public premises.
Do we need to prepare or wear special clothes?
No. No prior knowledge and no special clothing is needed. Bring reading glasses if you need them. Does someone in your group have limited mobility? What we have checked about accessibility is shown on the room’s page. Otherwise ask the venue before you book. We recommend not drinking alcohol before the game; it makes the puzzles noticeably harder.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
It varies between rooms and cities. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are labelled on the site, for example The Detectives in Gothenburg. Contact the venue before booking and we will help.
