Prästgatan 14, Norrköping
An hour where parents, teenagers and younger siblings actually do something together, and where the kids often find the clues first. The rooms below suit children, and the age is shown on every room.
The rooms we recommend below suit children: no scary rooms and no rooms with adult themes.
Adults SEK 325, children under 15 SEK 185 per person, 60 minutes in the room.
The number of players is shown on each room; bigger families book two rooms and compete.
A game takes 60 minutes, so it is easy to combine with lunch or a café the same day.
A family day in Norrköping can start in the Industrial Landscape. The Museum of Work sits in Strykjärnet, a former cotton mill on an islet in the river, with free admission and Lilla Arbetets, a play area for children up to six. The City Museum also has free admission and its own Children's Museum section. Holmbron, the bridge outside the museums, is being replaced and is expected to be finished in spring 2027. Until then there is a temporary footbridge, but it may close at times; then walk to the Museum of Work via Holmentornet or Kvarngatan and to the City Museum via Västgötegatan.
After lunch, walk the 8–11 minutes back towards the centre to Prästgatan 14. For children aged ten and up, Trapped, OrientX and the two ships HMS Orion and HMS Argo all fit. In a bigger family, mix grown-ups and children on both ships and race to the lifeboat, when both ships have the same start time free.
If you are driving and would rather start at Visualiseringscenter C, use the Spetsen car park at Skvallertorget, as the centre has none of its own. The exhibitions on space and data have free admission, while shows in the Wisdome dome are booked separately.
